Youth and Mentors learning and collaborating together at one of the 12 workshops at the MAX Youth Fellowship (MYF) program.

The participants would meet on a bi-weekly basis to learn a new non-cognitive skill each time in a student-centric environment.

Omer led the curriculum design and strategy for the MAX Youth Fellowship (MYF) program. The program’s vision was to develop great leaders of tomorrow who’d go on to make this world a better place.

Omer borrowed ideas from the principles of Design Thinking to create each workshop in a student-centric manner and focused on developing the students’ mindsets.

His research told him that great leaders have strong foundational non-cognitive skills such as Growth Mindset and Self-Awareness. Hence, this program was carefully designed to inculcate these essential non-cognitive skills in the participating youth and mentors.
